Trading verification · Tradovate

Journal the Tradovate account you are evaluating on.

Tradovate sync is not live, so this record is imported rather than broker-verified for now. Export Performance to CSV and import it, or log by hand. Each evaluation account keeps its own drawdown, and the backtester runs on the same futures contracts.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add the account

Name the futures firm the account belongs to, so the record says whose rules you were trading under.

  2. 02

    Import the session

Performance, then Export to CSV. Upload it, set the commission per contract and check the parsed rows.

  3. 03

    Review and test

Tag the setup, watch the drawdown on that account, and test the next idea on futures candles.

Per account

Every evaluation on its own numbers.

Each account carries its own drawdown, expectancy and rules, which is what matters when the daily loss limit is the thing that ends the run.

  • One account free, unlimited on Pro
  • Per-account drawdown and expectancy
  • One journal across all of them
Journal Insights: net P/L, win rate, expectancy and profit factor for the period, with the largest win and largest loss each naming the account that produced it.

Backtester

The same contracts, stepped forward by hand.

Replay the index, metals and energy contracts bar by bar, place simulated entries, and read the stats at the end rather than trusting a feeling.

  • ES, NQ, CL and GC among others
  • Commission charged per contract
  • Two sessions free, unlimited on Pro
Backtester analytics: the equity curve and per-trade results of a futures session.

DT Scholarships

A logged record can pay for the next evaluation.

DT Scholarships pays a $10K prop firm evaluation in full and takes nothing from the funded account. The application reads 10+ trades logged, 14-day logging streak and 1+ backtest completed.

  • Open to free and Pro members
  • Evaluation fee paid in full
  • You keep 100% of payouts

Questions

Does DT Terminal sync with Tradovate?

Not yet. There is no Tradovate connection today, so the journal is filled by CSV export or by hand, on a free account.

My prop firm runs on Tradovate. Can I add the account?

Yes. The account directory lists the Tradovate-based futures firms, so you can name the firm on the account and journal the evaluation. Naming a firm is not the same as syncing it, and the trades still arrive by CSV or by hand.

Which Tradovate export does the import read?

The Performance export saved as CSV, which the importer parses on its own. Free imports 10 trades a batch, Pro imports without limit.

How is commission handled?

Set a rate per contract, or a flat rate per trade, at import and it is applied to every trade in the batch. The stored result is net of it.

Can I publish a funded futures record?

You can publish it as self-reported. The broker-verified lane needs a live platform connection, which Tradovate does not have yet.

Can I run DT Terminal from Claude?

Soon. We are building an MCP connector that opens the whole of DT Terminal to Claude: every workspace and every piece of your data, to read and to act on, with your consent per scope. It works with any assistant that speaks MCP, and it is in development, not live yet.
