Questions

Which brokers can sync index CFDs?

Any MT4 or MT5 broker, 109 of them named in the catalogue, through a read-only investor login. An unnamed broker connects through the generic MT4 and MT5 rows.

Does it know US500 and SPX500 are the same index?

Yes. SPX500, SP500 and USA500 fold into US500, NAS100 and USTEC into US100, DAX and DE40 into GER40, so your statistics are never split across spellings.

Which indices are covered?

The US indices and the main European and Asian ones your broker quotes, including US500, US100, US30, GER40, UK100 and JP225. Anything else can be logged as a custom instrument.

How are swap and commission handled?

They arrive with the fill from the broker and are included in the net result, so the R multiple in the journal matches the statement.

Can I backtest index trades?

Yes. Real historical candles for the index instruments in the app, and coverage grows as data partners are added. The replay runs bar by bar on our own charts, and on Pro the session exports into the same journal as your live trades.

Can I run DT Terminal from Claude?

Soon. We are building an MCP connector that opens the whole of DT Terminal to Claude: every workspace and every piece of your data, to read and to act on, with your consent per scope. It works with any assistant that speaks MCP, and it is in development, not live yet.
