Trading verification · Kraken
Every spot fill Kraken reports arrives through a read-only API key with the verified seal on it, so your record is something you can show rather than something you say. The journal then breaks it down by pair, hour and setup, so you can see what to keep and what to cut.

How it works
In Kraken, create an API key and tick only the query permissions for funds, orders and trades. Leave every withdraw and trade permission unticked, so the key can read the account and cannot move money or place an order.
On Pro, pick Kraken and paste the API key, then the private key where the form asks for the secret. There is no passphrase, and the first sync starts as soon as the key is accepted.
Each fill lands with its fee and the verified seal. Win rate, expectancy and drawdown recompute by pair, hour, weekday and setup.
Verified
A fill synced from Kraken carries the verified seal on your record and on your public page, because DT Terminal read it from the exchange. A trade you log by hand stays marked self-reported, and that difference is what makes the seal worth showing.

Insights
Kraken trades around the clock, so the journal splits results by hour and weekday as well as by pair and setup. The fee comes off every synced result, so the net figure is the one your account felt.

Backtester
Jump the chart to a day you want to study, step it forward one bar at a time and trade it as if it were live. The session ends with win rate, expectancy and drawdown, not a feeling.

What is free
Sync and the verified seal are Pro, $18 a month or $149 a year.

Questions
Yes, on Pro. Kraken is one of 10 exchanges that connect through a read-only API key. Spot fills sync with their fees, and every one carries the verified seal. A free account can still log Kraken trades by hand or by CSV.
Only the query permissions: funds, open orders and trades, and closed orders and trades. Leave every withdraw and trade permission unticked. A key made that way lets DT Terminal read the account and nothing more, so it cannot move money or place, change or cancel an order.
Private key is Kraken's name for the secret half of the key. Paste the API key first, then the private key into the field marked secret. The connection asks for no passphrase.
DT Terminal values a balance in US dollars and dollar stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, and never guesses a coin price. While the account holds BTC, ETH, euros or any other asset, the balance is not synced and the sync note says why. Your trades still sync as normal.
Not today. The connection reads your Kraken spot account, so futures positions do not arrive through it. Log them by hand or import them from a CSV, and they sit in the same journal marked self-reported.
Soon. We are building an MCP connector that opens the whole of DT Terminal to Claude: every workspace and every piece of your data, to read and to act on, with your consent per scope. It works with any assistant that speaks MCP, and it is in development, not live yet.
Manual logging is free. Kraken sync and the verified seal are Pro.
Essential storage keeps DT Terminal working. Optional: product analytics and 60-day referral attribution. Change it any time in our Privacy Policy.
