EURX questions
EURX is an index of the euro measured against a basket of other major currencies, so it shows how the euro is doing overall rather than against one currency.
Each broker quotes its own bid and ask from its own liquidity providers, so prices can differ a little from broker to broker. The prices here are indicative bid quotes. Some brokers quote the cash index and others the futures, which trade at a slightly different level. Spreads also widen around big news and when the market opens.
Most brokers quote EURX nearly 24 hours a day on weekdays, with a short daily break, because the price follows the index futures. It moves most while its home stock market is open.
Contract sizes for EURX differ from broker to broker. Your broker's contract specification shows how much one lot is and what a one point move is worth per lot, so check it before you size a trade.
