Set the rate once as a figure per contract and it is applied across every trade in the import, so the result stored on each trade is already net of it.

Jump to the cash open or a release and step forward one bar at a time. Commission inside a session is charged per contract too, so a tested edge is costed like the real one.

Questions
Does DT Terminal sync with NinjaTrader?
Not yet. A NinjaTrader connection is being built, and until it ships trades come in by CSV export or by hand. We would rather say that here than let you find out after signing up.
Which NinjaTrader export does the import read?
The Trade Performance export saved as CSV, which the importer parses on its own. Upload it, review the parsed rows, save. Free imports 10 trades a batch, Pro imports without limit.
How is commission handled?
Set a rate per contract, or a flat rate per trade, when you import, and it is applied to every trade in the batch. The stored result is net of it, so it matches what the platform reported.
Does the backtester have futures data?
Yes: historical candles for index, metals and energy futures, ES, NQ, GC and CL among them, replayed bar by bar on the charts inside DT Terminal.
Can I keep a funded futures record?
You can journal it and publish it as self-reported today. The broker-verified seal needs a live platform connection, and the NinjaTrader one is still being built.
Can I run DT Terminal from Claude?
Soon. We are building an MCP connector that opens the whole of DT Terminal to Claude: every workspace and every piece of your data, to read and to act on, with your consent per scope. It works with any assistant that speaks MCP, and it is in development, not live yet.
