Ways to verify trading results, compared

Seven services that publish a trading record, side by side: how each checks it and what owners can hide.

Editorial disclosureWe publish this page and we are on it.Read the disclosure: where we are behind, how we checked

DT Terminal publishes this page and is one of the entries. Where we are behind: there is no stock broker sync and futures sync only through Tradovate, TradeLocker P&L is calculated before fees, we do not check that the person publishing a record is the account holder (Myfxbook does, for MT4 and MT5), and the iPhone and Android apps are not in the stores yet. The verification facts were read on each vendor's own pages on 5 October 2026. Myfxbook and Collective2 blocked our checker, so their facts come from archived copies of their own pages. The journal facts come from our journal guide, checked on 10 September 2026. Prices and plans change, so confirm on the vendor's site before you buy.

The seven platforms

DT Terminal

A trading verification platform, with a journal and backtester.

Watch out: No stock sync, and we do not check who holds the account.

How verification worksSample passport

All fifteen answers
How results are verified
A trade is verified only when DT Terminal pulls it from the broker: MT4 and MT5 through the account's login (the investor password is recommended), cTrader through view-only authorisation, Tradovate futures accounts through a read-only sign-in once their trades match Tradovate's settled cash ledger, and 10 crypto exchanges through an API key. Manual and CSV trades never carry the seal, and demo accounts at a retail broker are not counted as verified.
Can the owner change or hide the record
The market facts on a synced trade (symbol, side, prices, size, times, fees and P&L) are locked, and notes and tags stay editable. A hand logged trade cannot be added to a broker linked account. The owner chooses which accounts are public, and a visitor is not told when an account is kept private. After disconnecting, the owner can delete that connection's synced history.
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Deposits and withdrawals are recorded apart from trading P&L, so the P&L curve is trade results. For MT4 and MT5 the headline percent is time-weighted; cTrader and crypto accounts show a simple return on account size.
Check that the publisher controls the account
DT Terminal confirms that the trades came from the broker account that was connected. It does not run KYC or check that the person publishing is the account holder, so anyone holding an account's investor password or read key can connect it.
Public profile
Every trader can claim a DT Passport, a public page under their handle. It is public by default once claimed, can be made private at any time, and shows broker-verified records; backtest and practice accounts never appear on it.
What visitors see
Verified P&L, maximum drawdown, win rate, profit factor, average RR and trade count, a growth curve, a trading day calendar, how long each connection has synced, each public account with its seal and confirmed prop firm certificates. A per trade audit trail and payout ledger show when the trader switches them on. Prop accounts show verified payouts, never the firm's P&L.
Platforms
Verified verifies up to 3 accounts, one of them MT4 or MT5, and Pro verifies unlimited accounts with up to 3 on MT4 and MT5 (322 named brokers and prop firms plus any MetaTrader server), cTrader, TradeLocker, Tradovate futures accounts and 10 crypto exchanges. Free verifies one cTrader, TradeLocker, Tradovate or crypto exchange account, shown on the Passport. TradeLocker P&L is calculated before fees, futures sync only through Tradovate, and there is no stock broker sync yet.
Prop firm records
Prop challenges are tracked phase by phase. Payouts and funded certificates are checked against the account's broker-synced trades and reviewed by a person before they appear; a challenge pass certificate that matches the synced trades can be confirmed without that review. A prop account carries a Firm-Verified seal, with the firm read from the broker's server.
Progress over time
Weekly and monthly reports and the Analytics page compare win rate, expectancy, profit factor, return and P&L with the previous period. Those comparisons are private and use every journal trade. The Passport shows a consistency score beside last month's, and verified figures for this year and all time.
Journal
A trade log, calendar, daily journal, reflections, strategies, tags, goals, analytics and reports, with manual logging and CSV import on every plan (50 trades per import on Free).
Backtester
A built in backtester replays historical charts candle by candle with simulated trades. Free keeps 2 sessions at a time of up to 50 trades on one instrument, and Pro is unlimited. Backtest accounts never appear on the Passport.
AI
Edge, the built in AI coach, reads your own trades, journals, strategies, rules, goals, accounts and backtest sessions, and answers with your numbers. Free includes 20 chat messages a month; Pro is unlimited.
Price
A free plan with no card. Verified is $9 a month or $89 a year, with no trial. Pro is $24 a month or $199 a year, and the yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial before any charge.
Mobile app
DT Terminal runs on the web and as a desktop app for Windows and macOS. The iPhone and Android apps are not in the stores yet.
How they make money
DT Terminal earns from Pro subscriptions and optional Edge credit packs, and runs a creator affiliate programme. While the programme is enabled, 10% of eligible Pro and recurring credit-pack subscription payments go to DT Scholarships, which pays prop firm challenge fees for selected traders.
Limitation
DT Terminal cannot verify stock accounts today, as there is no stock broker sync, and it verifies futures accounts only through Tradovate. TradeLocker P&L is calculated before fees, time-weighted returns cover MT4 and MT5 alone, and DT Terminal does not check that the person publishing a record is the account holder, which Myfxbook does for MT4 and MT5.

Myfxbook

Free account tracking with broker-checked track records.

Watch out: The ownership check is documented for MT4 and MT5 alone, and broker-deleted trades cannot be verified.

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
Track Record verification checks the account history against the broker, using the account number, the read-only investor password, the broker and the server.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
The owner can delete systems and give each one its own privacy settings, which hide the chosen information from the public. Setting a custom start date adds a disclaimer to the public page.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Gain is a time-weighted return that deposits and withdrawals do not move. Absolute gain, profit over deposits, is shown separately.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
A Trading Privileges check asks the user to prove they hold the master password, by changing the investor password to a generated code or by placing a pending order with the code in its comment. It is documented for MT4 and MT5.Source
Public profile
Making an account public or sharing a link to it requires full verification. Private invitation links are also available.Source
What visitors see
A growth chart and a balance chart, gain and drawdown, advanced statistics, monthly gains and the trade history, minus anything the owner hides.Source
Platforms
MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradeLocker and Oanda, per its help centre connection articles.Source
Prop firm records
We could not load the vendor page that would describe this, so we leave it out rather than guess.
Progress over time
Daily and monthly gain breakdowns, and a custom analysis over a chosen period. No side by side period comparison is described.Source
Journal
No journal, notes or per trade review appears in its help centre.Source
Backtester
Myfxbook Backtest replays historical markets with simulated trades and synchronised charts.Source
AI
Strategy AI generates MT5 trading strategies and Expert Advisor code and runs cloud backtests, using paid credits.Source
Price
Registration and account tracking are free. Strategy AI is sold in credit plans and an ad free subscription exists; we could not load their prices.Source
Mobile app
Its help pages link apps for iOS and Android.Source
How they make money
A free, ad supported site that sells AI credits and an ad free subscription, lets verified traders sell access to their accounts, and runs broker and prop firm directories.Source
Limitation
The ownership check is documented only as MT4 and MT5 procedures, and trades the broker has deleted cannot be verified.Source

FX Blue

Free results publishing from your own platform, funded by brokers.

Watch out: Owners can exclude instruments or earlier dates, and nothing checks who controls the account.

WebsiteSources

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
Results come from the platform itself, through the trader's own publisher app or an account sync with read-only access for MT4, cTrader and Oanda. Manual and Excel uploads are refused. The pages we read do not use a verified label.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
Publisher apps can set a start date, before which nothing is published, and exclude instruments or magic numbers. Owners can hide open orders or the trade list, add a delay, or switch the published broker account, which overwrites the old data.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Percentage returns are chained per period, so deposits and withdrawals do not count as performance.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
No account ownership check is described. Some services need a verified phone number, and account sync uses read-only credentials.Source
Public profile
Published results are public by default on a username page, and can be locked with a PIN or a list of named users.Source
What visitors see
Equity curve, drawdown and risk metrics, with trades broken down by symbol, direction, day and hour. Owners can make the order list private, publish closed trades only, or delay orders.Source
Platforms
MT4, MT5, cTrader, Oanda fxTrade, XOpenHub, Vertex FX and FXCM Trading Station 2. Account sync covers MT4 and cTrader. No crypto exchanges, futures or stock brokers are listed.Source
Prop firm records
No feature for prop challenges, payouts or certificates was found.Source
Progress over time
Returns per month, any start and end date, and the spread of daily and weekly returns. No period against period comparison is described.Source
Journal
No notes, screenshots or written review. Strategy tags group trades by text in the order comment or by magic number.Source
Backtester
The MyTrader browser platform includes a tick by tick historical simulator for practice and backtesting.Source
AI
MyTrader's AI Creator connects to an outside AI assistant to write indicators and widgets. FX Blue says the assistant cannot see the account or the trades.Source
Price
A free account. No paid plan or price list is published, and premium tools are free to users who agree to be contacted by a sponsoring company.Source
Mobile app
No App Store or Google Play links on the pages we read.Source
How they make money
Free tools funded by broker sponsorship, with broker comparison, broker offers and featured broker sections.Source
Limitation
Before publishing, owners can exclude instruments, magic numbers or everything before a start date, and there is no ownership check, so a public page may show only part of an account.Source

MQL5 Signals

The MetaTrader copy trading marketplace, with a page per signal.

Watch out: MT4 and MT5 real accounts alone, and the record is a copy trading listing.

WebsiteSources

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
The provider registers the account number, the broker server and the read-only investor password, and the MetaQuotes signal server reads the trades and requests the full account history.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
Trades are read from the broker, so they cannot be edited. The provider can disable the signal or turn monitoring off. A signal with no subscribers is removed at once on request; one with subscribers needs a week of notice.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Growth is calculated from the trading history, excluding deposits and withdrawals, which are shown separately.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
Identity documents are checked for sellers, which paid signals need. Nothing confirms the publisher controls the account beyond knowing the investor password.Source
Public profile
Public signals have a public page on mql5.com and in the MetaTrader terminal showcase, with balance, equity, deposits, withdrawals and P/L in real time.Source
What visitors see
Growth, balance and equity charts, drawdown and other statistics, the full trading history, subscriber count, the broker server and whether the account is real or demo.Source
Platforms
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts.Source
Prop firm records
Nothing on prop challenges, payouts or certificates.Source
Progress over time
Lifetime growth, equity and balance charts, plus the account age in weeks and a reliability score. No period against period comparison is described.Source
Journal
There is no journal, notes or per trade review in the Signals service.Source
Backtester
Not part of Signals. The MetaTrader 5 platform has a built in Strategy Tester for automated strategies.Source
AI
No AI features are described on the Signals pages or rules.Source
Price
Browsing and monitoring are free. Subscriptions are paid monthly in USD at the provider's price, and the service keeps 20% of each fee.Source
Mobile app
There is no separate Signals app. The MetaTrader mobile apps for iPhone and Android carry notifications, and subscribing runs in the MetaTrader platform.Source
How they make money
A copy trading marketplace: subscribers pay providers monthly, and MetaQuotes keeps a 20% commission.Source
Limitation
MT4 and MT5 real accounts only, and the record is a copy trading listing rather than a standalone verified profile.Source

Darwinex Zero

Paid virtual accounts that build a risk managed track record.

Watch out: A record can only be built on its own accounts, and a reset closes it.

WebsiteSources

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
The trader trades a virtual account Darwinex Zero provides, and its own systems record the track record and build a risk managed DARWIN index from it. No outside broker is connected.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
Trades cannot be edited. A reset, for the price of one monthly subscription, closes the current track record and its DARWIN and cannot be undone.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Returns are a percentage of equity, compounded, so deposits and withdrawals do not affect the percentage return.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
No separate ownership check is needed, because the record comes from an account Darwinex Zero issues to the subscriber, one subscription per account.Source
Public profile
Every DARWIN gets a ticker and is listed on the DarwinIA community leaderboard. A private option is not described.Source
What visitors see
A DARWIN quote that moves in real time, its return and risk statistics. The underlying strategy is hidden, and the DARWIN is risk normalised, so it is not the raw account curve.Source
Platforms
Darwinex Zero's own virtual accounts on MT4 and MT5, for CFDs, crypto CFDs, futures and US stocks and ETFs. External broker accounts cannot be imported.Source
Prop firm records
It does not verify outside prop challenges or payouts. It presents itself as an alternative to funding programs, with no fixed return or drawdown targets.Source
Progress over time
Analytics show volatility, drawdown patterns and allocation history, and the monthly DarwinIA competition recognises progress.Source
Journal
No journal, notes, tags or screenshots are described.Source
Backtester
No backtester or replay is described.Source
AI
No AI features were found.Source
Price
There is no free tier: a monthly subscription is charged to a card or PayPal. Its own pages list different prices, so check the current price on their site.Source
Mobile app
No Darwinex Zero app. Its documentation points to the MT4 and MT5 apps for iOS and Android for trading.Source
How they make money
A paid subscription. Traders earn 15% performance fees on capital that Darwinex programmes and outside investors allocate to their DARWIN.Source
Limitation
The record can only be built on a Darwinex Zero account, with no import from another broker or prop firm, and a reset closes the existing record.Source

Kinfo

A broker-synced journal with a verified public profile.

Watch out: Trades sync once a day, so a profile can lag by up to a day.

WebsiteSources

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
A direct, read-only integration with the trader's broker: OAuth or read-only credentials for US brokers, and the MT5 account number and investor password for FX and CFD brokers. A profile is verified once trades import.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
Trades cannot be excluded or edited. The Pro+ Hide Trades option hides executions from every viewer, and the profile can be made private at any time.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Performance is cumulative profit from closed trades, in dollars and percent per trade. Time-weighted or deposit adjusted returns are not described.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
There is no identity check: names entered at signup are not checked. Account access comes from the broker link.Source
Public profile
Private by default. A trader can opt in to be public and join the leaderboard.Source
What visitors see
P&L and trading metrics, closed trade profit, a star rating and executions unless hidden. Account size is not shown, and several accounts appear combined as one portfolio.Source
Platforms
US stock, options, futures and crypto brokers, plus FX and CFD brokers through MT5.Source
Prop firm records
No feature for prop challenges, payouts or certificates.Source
Progress over time
A star rating for each of 30, 90 and 365 days, with custom periods and advanced reports on Pro.Source
Journal
An automatically imported trade log with notes, tags and statistics. Notes and tags are listed for Pro and Pro+.Source
Backtester
No backtester or replay was found.Source
AI
No AI features were found on the homepage, pricing or journal pages.Source
Price
A free plan with broker sync, basic analytics and a verified profile. Pro is $24.90 a month and Pro+ $44.90 a month, with a discount for yearly billing.Source
Mobile app
A Kinfo app for iOS and Android.Source
How they make money
Funded by subscriptions, with no copy trading.Source
Limitation
Trades sync once a day, overnight US Eastern time, so a profile can lag by up to a day, and public numbers are based on closed trades.Source

Collective2

A strategy marketplace built on hypothetical model accounts.

Watch out: Results are a hypothetical model account unless the manager is certified, and records can be reset for a fee.

WebsiteSourcesRead from archived copies

All fifteen answers, with sources
How results are verified
Strategy managers send signals live into a model account, or mirror a live broker account, and fills are priced from real time quotes. Results are labelled hypothetical.Source
Can the owner change or hide the record
Managers can pay to reset a strategy's track record, for a $30 fee. Past signals cannot be edited because they are entered live.Source
Deposits and withdrawals kept out of returns
Returns are measured on the model account's equity, net of subscription fees and estimated commissions. How deposits and withdrawals are handled is not published.Source
Check that the publisher controls the account
An optional Trades-Own-Strategy certification proves the manager trades the strategy in a live account, through AutoTrade or a mirrored broker account.Source
Public profile
Strategies are published in the public marketplace, with strategy pages and a leaderboard.Source
What visitors see
A hypothetical equity chart, monthly returns, closed trades with costs, maximum drawdown and risk statistics. Open positions are hidden from non subscribers.Source
Platforms
Stocks, options, futures and forex, with signals sent from its own web tool, platform connectors, the API, or a mirrored broker account.Source
Prop firm records
No prop challenge, payout or certificate features were found.Source
Progress over time
A hypothetical monthly returns grid, and an annualised return once a record passes 1 year.Source
Journal
No journal, notes or per trade review for managers was found.Source
Backtester
Seetu, its strategy development and backtesting environment.Source
AI
Its site blocked our checker and the archived pages show no AI feature, so we could not confirm either way.Source
Price
Strategy manager plans: Starter $19 per strategy a month, Basic $39 with a 14 day free trial, and Premium $99 a month for up to 3 strategies. Followers pay strategy subscriptions.Source
Mobile app
Its site blocked our checker and the archived pages carry no app store links.Source
How they make money
A strategy subscription marketplace: it collects subscriber fees and pays managers 50%, or 60% if certified as trading their own strategy.Source
Limitation
The track record is a hypothetical model account, not a broker statement, unless the manager is certified, and it can be reset for a fee.Source

FAQ

Connect your account to a service that reads trades from the broker, then share its public page. DT Terminal, Myfxbook, FX Blue and Kinfo read accounts you already trade; a screenshot or spreadsheet cannot be checked.

Partly. Broker-read trades cannot be edited on DT Terminal, MQL5 Signals, Kinfo or Darwinex Zero, but owners choose what is public, a DT Terminal owner can delete a disconnected account's history, and Collective2 sells resets.

Yes. Myfxbook, FX Blue and Kinfo's free plan cost nothing. DT Terminal verifies one cTrader or crypto account free; MT4 and MT5 verification starts on Verified at $9 a month. Darwinex Zero has no free tier.
