DT Scholarships · Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These DT Scholarships Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in DT Scholarships (the "Program"), a give-back initiative operated by DT Terminal ("DT Terminal," "we," "us," or "our"). By applying to, donating to, or participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms and to the DT Terminal Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not apply. We will give reasonable notice of material changes, which apply prospectively unless law requires express acceptance.

1) What DT Scholarships Is, and Is Not

DT Scholarships is a community give-back program. While the Program is enabled, DT Terminal records 10% of successful DT Terminal Pro and recurring credit-pack subscription payments actually received to sponsor prop-firm challenge / evaluation fees for selected traders. The base is the amount paid after discounts, including any tax collected and before processing fees. Community memberships, one-off purchases and donations are excluded from this 10% calculation; donations are accounted for separately after processing fees. Refunds and lost disputes reduce the allocation proportionally. Accrual begins only when the Program is enabled. A ledger allocation is not a claim that money is held in a separate bank account.

DT Terminal is not a prop firm. We do not run evaluations, set profit targets, provide or hold trading capital, or take any cut of your payouts. We pay the evaluation fee at an established third-party prop firm on your behalf, nothing more. If you pass the evaluation, the funded account is yours, you keep 100% of what you earn under that firm's terms, and DT Terminal takes nothing from it.

  • Sponsorship covers the evaluation fee only (for example, a $10,000-account prop-firm challenge paid in full).
  • The funded account, its rules, payouts, and any restrictions are governed solely by the third-party prop firm, not by DT Terminal.
  • DT Terminal never touches, holds, or guarantees your capital or your trading results.

2) Eligibility

Eligibility is earned through discipline, not a deposit. To apply you must:

  • Have a DT Terminal account in good standing.
  • Have logged at least 10 trades (paper trades count).
  • Have reached a best logging streak of at least 14 days.
  • Be of legal age to trade in your country, and confirm that prop-firm evaluations are not restricted where you live.

Meeting the minimums lets you apply; it does not entitle you to a sponsorship. Recipients are selected on merit each cycle, at DT Terminal's discretion, based on demonstrated discipline and your DT Terminal track record.

3) Application and Consent

When you apply, you submit information about your trading background and goals (which may include country, primary market, years trading, funded status, your biggest current constraint, and short written responses), together with an eligibility snapshot of your logged trades and best streak. You must confirm that:

  • You agree to these Terms, and you understand sponsorship covers the evaluation fee only and that DT Terminal is not a prop firm and takes nothing from any funded account; and
  • You are of legal age to trade in your country and that prop-firm evaluations are not restricted where you live.

You may optionally agree to share progress updates and a short testimonial if selected. Your application information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. You agree that the information you provide is accurate.

If you separately approve publication of a testimonial, you grant DT Terminal a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the approved words, display name, image, and relevant result in Program materials. You may withdraw future use by emailing us; removal from already-produced or archived materials may take a reasonable period and does not invalidate lawful use before withdrawal.

4) Selection and Sponsorship

  • Applications move through review states (e.g. pending, shortlisted, selected, or declined). Selection is discretionary and made each cycle.
  • If you are selected, DT Terminal pays the agreed prop-firm evaluation fee directly or reimburses it as arranged. We do not provide cash in lieu of a sponsored evaluation.
  • Passing the evaluation, complying with the prop firm's rules, and any subsequent funded trading are entirely your responsibility and are governed by the prop firm's terms.
  • Sponsorship is a one-time benefit per selection unless DT Terminal states otherwise. DT Terminal may set the firm, account size, and timing of a sponsored evaluation.

5) Re-application

If your application is declined, you may apply again 30 days after the decline. You may have only one open application at a time. DT Terminal may adjust eligibility minimums, selection criteria, cycle timing, and re-application rules at any time.

6) Funding the Program and Donations

  • The Program is funded by the subscription-payment allocation described above and by voluntary public donations.
  • Donations: DT Terminal allocates the net amount received after Stripe's payment-processing charges to the Scholarship fund and does not retain a program fee. Stripe's actual fee can vary by payment method, country, currency, and dispute status.
  • Donations are voluntary, are not purchases of any product or service, and are generally non-refundable except where law requires otherwise or a duplicate or unauthorized charge is verified. DT Scholarships is not presented as a registered charity, and donations are not tax-deductible unless we expressly confirm otherwise.
  • Published fund totals can include recorded allocations and donations and can change for refunds, chargebacks, processing fees, corrections, and sponsorship payments.
  • The size and timing of the fund determine how many evaluations can be sponsored in any cycle. DT Terminal does not guarantee any number of sponsorships.

7) Not Financial Advice; No Guarantees

DT Scholarships does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. A sponsored evaluation is an opportunity, not a guarantee of passing, of funding, or of any trading outcome. Your trading results are your own. You are responsible for any taxes arising from a funded account or payouts.

8) Conduct, Suspension, and Revocation

  • You may not submit false or misleading information, manipulate your DT Terminal activity to appear eligible, operate multiple or fraudulent accounts, or otherwise abuse the Program.
  • DT Terminal may decline, suspend, revoke, or claw back a sponsorship, and may remove you from the Program, at its discretion, including for breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or breach of the prop firm's rules.
  • DT Terminal may modify, pause, or discontinue the Program at any time. Changes apply prospectively from the date they take effect.

9) No Warranty / Limitation of Liability

The Program is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, DT Terminal disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for the acts, omissions, rules, or decisions of any third-party prop firm. DT Terminal's total liability arising from the Program will not exceed the value of the evaluation fee it has agreed to sponsor for you (if any).

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the DT Journal legal operator is established, subject to mandatory local law. Contact us for the operator's registered identity, service address, and governing jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect, and failure to enforce is not a waiver.
