# Verified Trading Results and Trader Lookup · DT Terminal

> Look up any trader on DT Terminal. Every seal comes from a broker connection or a firm document a person has checked, never typed by the trader.

Verification

# Verify your trading results today

How a trading record gets verified on DT Terminal, shown on a sample account: connecting read-only, the Broker-Verified seal, the trades behind it, reviewed payout certificates, and the DT Passport.

MT4 and MT5 connect with the investor password, which cannot place a trade.

Principles

## The rules behind every seal.

- **From the source**
Seals come from the broker’s server or a firm document a person checked.
- **Locked once recorded**
Once a synced fill lands, the database refuses edits to its market facts.
- **Checked again**
Accounts are re-checked as trades arrive. One that fails loses its seal.
- **Kept apart**
Own money, prop firm accounts and payouts each keep their own record.
- **Verified against verified**
The boards rank verified records only, never beside a hand-logged claim.
- **Practice stays private**
Backtest and paper accounts can never be published to a DT Passport.

Payout-verified

## The strongest claim, and the one nobody can type.

1. **Upload the firm’s confirmation**
The payout statement or receipt, as the firm issued it.
2. **A person checks it**
Against the firm, the account and the dates. A mismatch is refused.
3. **It joins verified earnings**
Only confirmed payouts are summed, and each one stays open to inspection.

Verified earnings never include a figure a trader typed.

## What a sceptic asks

[Ask us anything](https://www.thedtterminal.com/support)

### Can a trader hide their losing accounts?

They choose which verified accounts appear on their DT Passport, so a passport shows the accounts they publish, not every account they hold. A published account shows all of its closed trades, losses included, and needs 30 synced trades over at least 30 days before it can go up at all.

### Can synced trades be edited or deleted?

No. The database refuses changes to a synced trade’s prices, size, times and result, while notes, tags and reviews stay editable. Deleting synced trades means removing the whole broker connection first, and a removed connection no longer counts toward any seal.

### Can DT Terminal place trades on my account?

No. Nothing in DT Terminal sends an order. MT4 and MT5 connect with the investor password, which can only read, cTrader connects with a view-only sign-in, and crypto exchanges take a read-only key.

### What happens if I disconnect my broker?

Your synced trades and their seal stay on your record, and your passport shows when the account last synced. Removing the connection entirely is a separate step, and after it those trades no longer count as verified.

### How often are accounts checked?

Trades sync through the day, and each synced account is scored again whenever new trades arrive, and at least weekly. An account that fails a check shows as unverified until a person reviews it.

### How is this different from other ways of proving results?

Screenshots and spreadsheets are typed by the trader. Here every number comes from the broker or from a document a person checked. We compare DT Terminal with the other verification services side by side.

[See the comparison](https://www.thedtterminal.com/compare/verification)

### Is the passport on this page a real trader?

No. The sample passport, the example record and the sample board are demo data, and each one is labelled that way. Real records are found with the search box above.

## Claim your handle. Publish your record.

Free to claim. Your page goes live at thedtterminal.com/dtpassport/yourhandle, and the seal arrives with your first synced fill, free on one account that is not MT4 or MT5.
