Steps

Edge sees patterns you can't, and Pro puts Edge at every decision point, not just before and after.

The AI chapter covers four surfaces:

\1. More Edge questions. Free has 20 a month, Plus 50 and Pro 150, reset every month. Help with the app never counts. Use Edge as a thinking partner. Ask it to challenge a trade idea, draft a strategy, or summarise your week.

\2. 20 screenshot and chart reads a month, for Edge reading your screenshots and charts. They reset every month, and unused ones do not roll over.

\3. Findings, in Analytics: a behavioural profile built from your actual trade history. It surfaces strengths, leaks, session bias, and execution patterns you'd never notice in a spreadsheet. Check it after every 10 closed trades.

\4. Edge Context while logging. As you fill in the Add Trade form, Edge shows your real edge for this session, symbol, and hold time, plus anomaly warnings when risk is unusually high. It's the smallest interface change with the biggest behavioural impact.

What Pro unlocks here

- 150 Edge questions a month to ask about your own trades.
- 20 screenshots and chart reads a month, for screenshots and post-trade reviews. Both reset every month.
- Findings, in Analytics, and Edge Context surface your patterns before, during, and after every trade.

### Tips

- • Check Findings, in Analytics, after every 10 trades. Slow patterns surface only in batches.
- • When you feel uncertain mid-form, glance at Edge Context before sizing. It costs nothing.
- • Treat Edge chat as a sparring partner, not an oracle. Ask it to argue against your trade.
- • Save your screenshot reads for borderline setups, and think out loud with Edge in chat first.

Win rate alone is misleading. Pro unlocks the metrics that actually predict whether you're getting better.

Detailed Stats give you Profit Factor, Expectancy, R-multiples (average and median), largest win/loss, gross profit/loss, average hold time, and long vs short breakdown, all filterable by tag, account, and strategy. Filter to one setup and see whether that specific setup is paying you.

The Time and Breakdowns tabs show hour-of-day and weekday performance, holding time, and the link between how long you hold and what you make. That is where overtrading and cutting winners early show up, neither of which a win rate can see.

Analytics filters let you slice every chart by account or tag. Find out whether your funded account is dragging your stats, or whether your "A+ setup" tag actually outperforms.

What Pro unlocks here

- Projections show your expected return, break-even win rate and drawdown scenarios from your own numbers.
- How far each trade moved for and against you (MAE and MFE), so you can see where you cut winners early.
- Reports compare any week or month against All Time and Year to Date.

### Tips

- • Lead with Expectancy and Profit Factor. Those are the only two numbers that matter long term.
- • Filter by your strongest tag for one week and trade only that setup. Compare expectancy at the end of the week.
- • Read the Time tab monthly. The hours that pay you can shift as your sample grows.

Discipline is a structured loop, not a personality trait. The daily journal is free on every plan and walks you through Before, During and After phases every day: the shape forces you to plan before you trade and review before you sleep. If you can't articulate your plan in the pre-market section, you don't have one. The Journal Trades view, also free, puts the day's trades inside your daily journal entry so you can review numbers and narrative in one place. Pro gives you the three tools that make the loop tight.

Unlimited Pulses replace the Free 3-per-day cap. Pulses are your in-session mindset log: fear, frustration, conviction, doubt. They get auto-linked to trades you log around the same time and give Edge the emotional side of each trade.

Pulse Tags let you label each pulse (e.g. "fomo", "patience-paid", "rule-broken"). Over months the tag cloud is a brutal honest mirror of how you actually trade.

A weekly or monthly journal is the parent container for your reviews, and Pro adds two views of it. Timeline shows every trade, journal, pulse, and reflection in one chronological feed. Guided Review walks you through section-by-section prompts to evaluate the period in depth.

What Pro unlocks here

- Unlimited Pulses and Pulse Tags, so you can track mindset shifts across the session.
- Goal history and a health score for every past month, not just this one.
- Weekly and monthly reviews in your Journal, with Intelligence, the Timeline and Guided Review, link every trade, journal entry and pulse to one plan.

### Tips

- • Use the journal's pre-market plan as a commitment device. If you don't write it, you don't trade.
- • Drop a pulse whenever your heart rate changes. Those are the moments worth reviewing.
- • Tag every "rule broken" pulse. Recurring tags identify your single biggest leak.
- • Start a weekly journal every Sunday for the prior week. Skip it once and the loop breaks.

Free keeps 2 backtest sessions at a time, and Plus 3: delete one to start another. Pro is unlimited, so you never clear out an old test to make room, and you get the polish that makes serious backtesting bearable.

Unlimited sessions means you can spin up a new test for every leak Findings flags. Found a weakness on Friday afternoon US sessions? Backtest 50 Friday afternoons in an hour.

Drawing templates save every marker style as a reusable one-click apply. Your ICT / SMC marker library lives across every chart and survives sessions.

Offline downloads cache every timeframe of a session, so a flight or a dead connection does not cost you the rep. Practice stays in the Backtester's own analytics, apart from your real P&L.

What Pro unlocks here

- Unlimited backtest sessions and trades, with up to 16 markets in one session.
- Unlimited drawing templates give you one-click styling across every replay.
- Offline downloads keep a session running without a connection.

### Tips

- • Run a Backtester session for every leak Findings flags. Turn weaknesses into reps.
- • Save your default chart layout the first time you tweak it, and never tweak twice.
- • Keep the strategy's Rulebook open while you test, and note every rule you would have broken.
- • After 30 simulated trades on the same setup, you have a real sample. Trust those stats.

## Mobile Workflow

On mobile you can read every chapter and drop pulses, perfect for the moments between sessions. Edge chat works on mobile too, so you can debrief a trade on the bus home. The Backtester is a desktop-only experience.

## Core Philosophy

> “Pro is not more features. It is a tighter feedback loop.”

DT Terminal

Every Pro tool exists to shorten the loop between a decision and the feedback on that decision. Findings reads your patterns. Edge Context warns you mid-decision. Your weekly journal stitches the whole week together. Use the loop weekly and you compound. Skip it and Pro is just an expensive Free.
