## EURSGD questions

### What is EURSGD?

EURSGD is the price of one EUR in SGD. EUR is the base currency and SGD is the quote currency, so the price tells you how many Singapore dollars one EUR costs.

### Why is my broker's EURSGD price different?

Each broker quotes its own bid and ask from its own liquidity providers, so prices can differ a little from broker to broker. The prices here are indicative bid quotes. Spreads also widen around big news and when the market opens.

### When does EURSGD trade?

EURSGD trades 24 hours a day, five days a week, from 17:00 New York time on Sunday to 17:00 New York time on Friday. It is busiest when London and New York are both open, roughly 12:00 to 16:00 UTC.

### How much is one lot of EURSGD?

On most brokers one standard lot of EURSGD is 100,000 EUR, so a one pip move (0.0001) is worth S$10.00 a lot, and 0.01 lots moves S$0.10 a pip. Check your broker's contract size before you trade.

### What moves the EURSGD price?

Mostly what traders expect the European Central Bank to do with interest rates, inflation and jobs data from both economies, and how much risk markets want to take.
